Bethel Township Board of Supervisors held the hearing for the proposed zoning ordinance and map changes July 11, 2018.  The Board of Supervisors have decided to revisit in conjunction with the Planning Commission to take in consideration the comments from the hearing. There is not a program that is going to start right away.  This is what was discussed:  Volunteers manning the recycling area in two hour shifts, the recycling would be open two days a week, Friday and Saturday.  Not sure of hours.  Lee Groff is looking into grants.  It is still on the agenda for future discussion.

 Bethel Township is putting together a list of email addresses for residents to be notified of up-coming events and general pertinent information. If you would like to be included, please email the Township at betheltownship@comcast.net. Your email will be for Township notifications only!!

Bethel Township is looking for a 2018-2019 daily school crossing guard and a backup crossing guard to walk students to and from Bethel Elementary School for the 2017-2018 school year continuing yearly, on an “as needed” basis.   Please call the Township office, 717-933-8813 if interested.  Pass the word, you never know who would be interested.
